THE PACIFIC LOCOMOTIVE
Attention Train Enthusiasts!
We are excited to announce that we will have a 4-6-2 7.25 locomotive train available for sale late 2023.
A 4-6-2 locomotive, also known as a Pacific type locomotive, is a steam locomotive with four leading wheels, six powered and coupled driving wheels, and two trailing wheels. The “4-6-2” designation refers to the wheel arrangement of the locomotive, with the first number representing the number of leading wheels, the second number representing the number of driving wheels, and the third number representing the number of trailing wheels.
The 7.25 gauge refers to the distance between the rails of the tracks on which the locomotive will operate. This gauge is often used for narrow gauge railways, which are rail systems with a track gauge that is smaller than the standard gauge of 4 feet 8.5 inches.
Our 4-8-2 7.25 scaled locomotive would make a valuable addition to any collection or museum, and we are excited to see it find a new home where it can be appreciated and cared for by other train enthusiasts.
